Ken Briggs. Just a wonderful human being! Ken made a significant contribution to the Rotary Club of Bendigo South over 41 years. He is one of the reasons why this club is one of the more innovative and stable Rotary Clubs. A former President of the Club he provided stable leadership with innovative approaches to issues he confronted. His ‘steady as she goes’ leadership over his 41 years was a determining factor which has made the Rotary Club the great club it is today. He treated all with respect and dignity.
Ken, although old in years always had a young mind and willing to embrace and adapt to change. Where many in Ken’s age group may have rejected or would not entertain change where he believed it would benefit the organisation would wholeheartedly support it. It was said once that ‘The idea is to die young as later as possible”.
He was a ‘man for all seasons’ who will be sadly missed by all! Our sincerest condolences to Glennis and Ken’s family.
An incredible man who I have admired for over 30 years. He will leave a huge hole in many lives just not being there.
Sympathy to the extended Briggs family and close friend to Glennis. Peace be with you my good friend. Love and respected by all you have met. Gary Pinner & Sharon Pfeiffer.
Ken was a wonderful friend and colleague for more than 60 years. We enjoyed some interesting
challenges together with the State Rivers & Water Supply Commission.
A true gentleman and fine engineer that was highly respected by all lucky enough to enjoy his company. So devoted to all his family.
We send our sympathy best wishes and love to all of his family and to Glennis at this sad time.
