A Tradition That Continues
Our story started in the early 1870’s when Mr William Farmer was a cabinet maker who began manufacturing coffins for families, like many in this trade he chose to begin conducting funerals, and therefore William Farmer Funeral Directors was established.
Today located in Bendigo and Eaglehawk, we are a family owned and operated funeral home. Together with our team we take great care in the way we look after families and believe it’s an honour and privilege to be entrusted with funeral arrangements. Almost 150 years later we remain a trusted member of the Bendigo and surrounding community, and dedicated to personal, professional, and uncompromised funeral care.
Alongside our core service to the community, we are actively involved with many groups and events across the Bendigo and surrounding areas. Together our team put back into the community that supports them by donations, time and activities. We provide tours and educational talks for clubs, school groups and churches, and are active members of Rotary, Land Care and the Bendigo Easter Fair Society to name a few.
