A Tradition That Continues
In early 1873 Mr. William Farmer was a cabinetmaker who began manufacturing coffins for families, like many in this trade he chose to begin conducting funerals, and therefore William Farmer Funeral Directors was established.
Today located in Bendigo and Eaglehawk, we are a locally owned and operated funeral home. Our team take great care in the way we look after families and believe its an honour and privilege to care for loved ones. For almost 150 years we have been a trusted member of the Bendigo and surrounding community, and we continue to keep a tradition of personal, professional, and uncompromised funeral care.

As proud members of the Australian Funeral Directors Association (AFDA), we abide by a strict Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct, to ensure security, care, and professionalism.
Our excellence has been recognised over the years at the Bendigo Business Excellence Awards, receiving numerous awards for our service and commitment to the Bendigo community.

Caring For Our Community
Along side our core service to the community, we are actively involved with many groups and events across the Bendigo and surrounding areas. Together our team put back into the community that supports us by donations, time and activities.
We provide tours and educational talks for clubs, school groups and churches, and are active members of Rotary, Land Care and The State Emergency Service to name a few.
