Deepest sympathies to Melinda, David & Will on the passing of Tony.
We take so many modern things for granted. Tony would talk to me of his childhood and the living conditions of the time and of his family in Eaglehawk – indeed he mapped out the many and rapid changes over his life. He spoke of his various jobs and adventures, many with a twist of the gifted story teller. The first time I met him he described the challenge it was for him to master the math, at his age, for his radio license. What will stay with me is his small-boy-cheeky-smile.
To Mel, David and Will Our Deepest Sympathy at the loss of your Dad and our devoted mate and friend of many years.
For the past 10 years we had many a good conversation on the Radio. You will be severely missed by all not only in Person but also on the Radio. You will be always remembered on a Friday Night on the Bottleshop Net. I hope they have a good Radio set up above for you. Rest in Peace MATE !!!! Greg Vk3hbm….
Will miss you mate deepest sympathies
