Our gorgeous and loving “other Mum”. You have been in my life for almost 50 years and will be sorely missed. Our kids have never known life without Aunty Shirl but they are blessed to have loved and cared for someone as loving and kind as you. Bendigo will never be the same. My only regret is we didn’t get to say goodbye.
In memory of my dear friend Shirley, how I will miss all our phone calls Shirl. My loving sympathy to all your family. Your little corner of Spring Gully Rd will never be the same. Love Nance
To the Jager Family we where very sad to read of the passing of Shirley, she was a great lady. We often chatted when we meet about family. She will be missed. love Lorraine and Ian Bell (Bert’s cousin)
Loved Auntie to Terry & Deb Connelly
Catch ya later Auntie Shirl. So glad I had that chat with you a few weeks ago. Rang to speak for only a minute and it lasted 45…hope the pot was ok after it boiled dry.
You always tried to work out a way for Your Bert and I to be related (My birth name was Jager) but we just couldn’t find a common denominator. You always wanted to know how Your Terry was…answer was always the same…Auntie Shirl he is ok…he is a Connelly and will just keep on keeping on.
Say hi to Dad, (your big brother Bill) and the rest of the gang Oh my, I can just imagine the laughs happening up there.
Love and sympathy to Carol, Paul and families.
Rest easy Auntie Shirl, knowing you were loved.
