Our much loved Jo is now at peace and her suffering over. She spread light, love, care and smiles throughout her life. Always a reader, she shared her passion with Pat and Niamh and with all who had conversations with her. My prayer and love go out to you, Pat, Niamh, Tina, Siobhán and Michael. Rest in God’s light and love, dearest Jo.
Jo, I will always remember your kindness , your beauty and your laughter. You loved Padraic so much and Niamh was the centre of your world. I cannot believe you’re gone even though I knew you were on the cancer path. Thank you for your fun, your generosity and your messages. I will miss you

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Jo. She made such a huge impact on my life, from sharing her love of reading and dogs (especially Madra), helping me through school and so much more. I remember telling her ridiculous Irish jokes when she was out walking and the excitement the first time she walked past with baby Niamh.
My thoughts and condolences are with Paddy, Niamh and the rest of the Walsh and Long families.
Lots of love, Samantha Bowles.

Paddy and Niamh,
Words can’t express how sad we feel at Jo’s passing. Her time with Access filled the place with fun; her infectious laugh, care and compassion; and everyone she worked with was touched by her kindness. But above all else her love and pride for her family, shone through. Sending all our love and deepest condolences. Rest peacefully, beautiful Jo.
My sincere condolences to Pat, Niamh and the Long and Walsh families.
It is so hard to comprehend the loss of Jo, such a beautiful, caring, vibrant lady who had the very special personality of making people smile. Jo certainly enjoyed life and showed her love to those near her.
With admiration of such a wonderful Lady as Jo, I have always been inspired of her wonderful zest for life and being that very Special Person. Jo’s life cut short is not fair, absolutely, but never forgotten.
I am so blessed to have enjoyed our friendship, passion of meeting up and making memories. Those memories I treasure and truly value greatly and hold so close to my heart forever. Such a sad times ahead, I will miss Jo so very much, but never forgotten.
RIP beautiful Jo, a candle will burn in your memory.
