Formerly Irene Scown of Lake Boga, was born on September 13, 1937. She was the beloved wife of Roy Jones (formerly of Nyah West), cherished mother of Gary and Peter (dec.), grandmother of Irene, Peter, Elysha and Lachlan, and great grandmother of Teah.
Irene died peacefully in her sleep on January 25 at Strath-Haven Community Bendigo, at the age of 83.
A wonderful and caring lady who was loved by all her family and many friends.
A Thanksgiving Service for the life of Mrs. Irene Olive Jones will be held at the William Farmer Victoria Street Chapel, 12 Victoria St., Eaglehawk, on MONDAY (February 1) at 11 am.
