Aged 70 years
Peacefully passed away at home on 17th February surrounded by family following a short illness. Dearly loved wife of Mel for over 50 years. Daughter to Lavinia and George (both dec.) Gerry, Loving Mother of Jason, Nathan and Chelsea, Mother-in-law to Sabrina, Janelle, (Xiaojun) Loving Grandmother to Alicia, Mia, Noah, Jimi, Samuel, Poppy, Ada and Jack.
Your strength and courage will forever be remembered.

My darling wife and soulmate Carol, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me in my lifetime. My heart is broken now, but your never-ending love and devotion to me is something that I will treasure forever. You will always be in my heart and thoughts as we said to each other every day “I love you”. Mel.
Mum, you were the perfect mother in every way. Your unconditional love, dedication to our family, kindness and wisdom has touched all of our lives and will continue to do so forever more. We will miss you terribly but know that you are at peace with God and watching over us. God bless you Mum. You will be in our hearts forever. Jason, Sabrina and Poppy.

A Service to Celebrate the life of Mrs. Carol May McGovern will be held at the William Farmer Victoria Street Chapel, 12 Victoria St., Eaglehawk on FRIDAY (February 26) at 2.30 pm.
