Bill you were such an inspirational person. When my father died suddenly the day after I turned 15 you gave me strength and guidance through your stewardship to young members of the Kangaroo Flat fire brigade.
I have always had the utmost respect for you through the rest of my life.
I am honoured to have been able to call you a friend, I am so glad that I spoke to you just prior to Christmas, little did I know that it would be our final conversation.
Take Care! Mate.
